The national standard revision meeting of GB / T 1717 was hosted by the National Technical Committee for standardization of coatings and pigments and CNOOC Changzhou coating Chemical Research Institute Co., Ltd., CO sponsored by Zhejiang Huayuan Pigment Co., Ltd., the first revision drafting unit of the national standard, Shen Sujiang, Secretary General of the pigment branch secretariat of the National Technical Committee for standardization of coatings and pigments, Zhu Zenglin, chairman of Zhejiang Huayuan Pigment Co., Ltd Executive Vice President Gao Jianmin and technical experts from more than 20 leading enterprises in the coating and pigment industry attended the meeting.
Shen Sujiang, Secretary General of the pigment branch of the National Technical Committee for standardization of paints and pigments, presided over the standard revision meeting. The meeting held in-depth and detailed discussions on the approved general test methods for pigments and pigments - Determination of pH value of pigment aqueous suspension (GB / T 1717) and determination of volatile matter of pigments at 105 ℃ (GB / T 5211.3). Technical experts of relevant enterprises put forward valuable suggestions on the processes and methods involved in the standard, The two working groups have successfully revised the standards and fully affirmed their authority.

The revision of the standard is very important for the development of the pigment industry.
